Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated business development manager with 8–10 years of proven success in identifying business opportunities, driving sales growth, and building long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics in software development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  •  Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Formulate and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue goals and expand market presence.

  •  Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Identify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and online research.

  •  Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.

  •  Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends, emerging markets, and customer needs.

  •  Proposal & Pitch Development: Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client requirements.

  •  Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to align business strategies and customer solutions.

  •  Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Track business development KPIs, generate accurate forecasts, and provide regular performance updates to management.

  •  Partnership Development: Identify and negotiate partnerships, collaborations, and alliances to enhance market penetration.

  •  Contract Negotiation: Lead contract discussions and negotiations to close deals that are beneficial to both the company and clients.

  •  Upselling & Cross-Selling: Leverage existing accounts for cross-selling new solutions and services to maximize revenue.

Key Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  •  8–10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in [industry]).

  •  Strong understanding of sales principles, marketing strategies, and client acquisition.

  •  Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
