Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-performance web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Work with MySQL or other relational databases to design, optimize, and maintain efficient database structures.
• Integrate third-party APIs and web services into applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Stay updated with the latest PHP frameworks, tools, and industry trends.
• Ensure security and data protection measures in all web applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team coding standards.
• Deploy and maintain applications in various environments, including cloud-based platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
• Proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience in RESTful API development and third-party API integration.
• Good understanding of security best practices in web development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Prior experience in eCommerce, CMS, or SaaS applications is a plus.
